COVID-19 Essential Household Item Sussex Relief Scheme

The Now! Charity is committed to supporting the public during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, ensuring quality of life and wellbeing is maintained during unprecedented times.

Reports suggest that COVID-19 shall have the greatest impact on two categories of high-risk citizens, those medically at risk with underlying health issues and those financially at risk such as people of low-socioeconomic status.

Following the governments guidance for the public to observe an indefinite period of self-isolation, the need for people to access essential household items is critical. The Now! Charity is dedicated to combating the effects of COVID-19 and support communities by providing the following items to people in need, ensuring a stable living environment so the public may safely stay at home, protect the NHS and save lives;

• Beds

• White goods such as fridges, freezers and washing machines.

• Small appliances such as microwaves and toasters.

• Miscellaneous essential household items such as utensil packs.

Please note

• The COVID-19 Essential Household Item Scheme shall only be available to residents living in Sussex.

• The COVID-19 Essential Household Item Scheme does not include installation of goods.

• All goods supplied shall be delivered to the doorstep of the address supplied within the request and shall not be brought into the household.

• The supplying of goods is restricted to one essential household item per request.
