Role Description

The primary purpose of the Stock Preparation Volunteer is to help add value to donated items by repairing and upcycling them to be sold in-store. Above all, we’re looking for volunteers with a flexible, “can do” attitude, as the role is varied, and no two days will be the same.

Duties & Responsibilities

To help with the general maintenance and repair of our retail sites :

• Using your DIY skills and passion to help repair and upcycle donated items to be sold in store

• Working as a team with other staff and volunteers.

• Assist within the storage area, including helping with the storage & display of furniture and assisting & serving customers.

• Providing a high level of customer service at all times.

• Ensure all Health and Safety procedures, including manual handling, and all other good practice is adhered to.
